Do Rootstocks Influence Global Fruit Quality, Postharvest Performance and Metabolite Profiles of Persea americana cv. Hass?

چکیده

The choice of rootstock has a significant impact, not only on fruit growth and development, but also avocado quality postharvest performance. objective this study was to evaluate compare attributes related the Hass avocados from “Mexicola” “Duke 7” rootstocks grown under similar conditions. This included two harvests: early (23–26% dry matter) middle (>26–30% per season for 2016/2017 2017/2018 seasons storage conditions (regular air (RA) at 5 °C controlled atmosphere (CA) 4 kPa O2 6 CO2 °C) 55 days. results showed differences in firmness, color vascular flesh browning between conditions; addition these last three attributes, played an important role. fatty acid profile did reveal both rootstocks. Finally, polar metabolite profiles revealed condition, associated rootstock, which could affect performance fruit. is one few available showing interaction rootstock/Hass cultivar
